I ordered the 5 lb. bag of raw cashews from We Got Nuts, because it was a great price for the size. When I received the nuts, I was a bit disappointed because there was no packing in the box along with the large bag of cashews. I could see through the bag that there were a lot of broken pieces. I tasted them and was happy that the whole cashews tasted good and seemed fresh. I separated the broken nuts from the whole ones and weighed the pieces. To my dismay, the broken pieces weighed close to 1.5 lbs. I will use the broken pieces in other meals, but I feel that I paid for 5 lbs. and only received 3.5 lbs. of whole nuts. I am not sure if I will reorder, but suggest that the company provide packing in the box to keep the nuts from breaking. I am assuming that the nuts were broken due to shipping. Other than that I am very satisfied with the quality and taste of the cashews.
